WHO WE ARE:
-
The MRMCA was established in 1971. In 1995 the Mission and Goals were established as follows:

MISSION STATEMENT

Provide industry representation for the advancement of quality concrete in Manitoba.

GOALS

  • Market and promote the use of concrete.
  • Provide a consolidated industry approach to regulatory bodies.
  • Provide networking opportunities
  • Provide education and training.

The association is fully funded by its membership of Producers, Cement Manufacturers and Associates. With  membership of about 52  Producer companies it is the recognized authoritative voice of the ready mixed concrete industry in Manitoba.

MRMCA is governed by a Board of 9 elected Directors: 5 Producer members from rural Manitoba, 2 Producer members from the City of Winnipeg, 1 representative from the cement manufacturing companies, and 1 representative from the Associate members.

Each Director is involved with promoting concrete, addressing the issues related to technical, safety, government matters, as well as promoting seminars and social functions. They effectively work for the betterment of the members and the industry.
